The reason For ouR Name
"The Forest" comes from plant imagery and metaphor found throughout the whole Bible. Whether in the Garden of Eden, the first Psalm, the words of Jesus or the book of Revelation, trees and plants are used to describe many truths surrounding the kingdom of God.

About our CitY of NEW ORLEANS
She’s beautiful, she’s funky, she’s everything you think, yet not all can be discerned on the surface. How does she describe herself? What’s her history? Why is she so difficult yet so unique at the same time? If you’re not a local you’ll notice it faster than most, but if you are, you have learned to live life not knowing any different.
To glorify God according to the Word within her borders, requires us to know her well.

EXISTS TO GLORIFY GOD BY THE MATURING OF HIS CHURCH,
THROUGH THE TRUTHFUL ENGAGMENT OF HIS WORD
AND THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT,
SO THAT THE REAL LIFE OFFERED IN CHRIST WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE CITY.
